  1. Onzaboymark, Maybe it was a defect. Looking at the picture it looks like a tubing failure and not a weld failure. So maybe it is not manufacture defect but just a defect in the material it self. I have seen Steel BMX frames break right in the middle of the top tube and bottom tube that were caused by tubing failure. I don't know, it could be a defect or it just may have been the strain like you said. It is hard tell by just looking at the photos. Keep riding, Deadly Venom
  2. I am probably going to get a ribbing for saying this but I find all this frame copying hilarious!! I posted thread a while back about the updated CZAR, Adamant website’s and a great deal of the people who replied to the thread said the frames were basically pieces of shit. This thread is about a copy of a copy and everyone loves it! Just seems funny to me. :S Ride on, Deadly venom

Onzaboymark, You made a good point there. I can't really argue with that. Ride on, Deadly Venom

Trials forum member sponge made a comment saying that the 2005 Pitbulls had a bad brake mount design. Looking at the 2006 model, in the opinion of the people in this forum, do any of you think the 2006 Pitbull model has bad brake mounts? Ride on, Deadly venom
  5. I have to put in my two cents. I have read a lot of ribbing on this frame but I think it looks quite nice!! If it is of good quality and has good riding performance and fits a persons riding style I don't see what's wrong with it. With it coming down in price here in the U.S. from $675 to $440 I think I will add this to my list of possible frames. I guess now it's down to the Ivan, BT Raven 6.0 and the 2006 ZOO Pitbull. 6. The trials riding scene in China must be huge. I just found Aorta bikes about two hours ago while doing a search on altavista. Although there seems to be a little resistance to some of the trials products from China I think some of their designs are excellent. Ride on, Deadly Venom
  7. In the above post I asked where is Lee Shi Ming but recieved no reply. Then I found a website for a bike company called Aorta bikes. Is this Lee shi ming's new company that he started by his self or is this another Deng industry product that Lee Shi Ming just gave a hand in designing? The web address is: http://www.aortabike.com It looks rather nice. Ride on, Deadly Venom
  8. I just have a small question, where is Lee Shi Ming? I know that Yao Zhi has left Zoo, did Lee Shi Ming do same with the Echo? I only saw two of the Echo videos that featured him and I really liked his riding. Does he have his own website? I looked for it but I could not find it. Ride on, Deadly Venom
  9. Rob P, I am glad you liked the complement!! Thanks again for the info, the comments further ease my mind about the aluminium frames. Thank you, Deadly venom
  10. Thanks for the info. What is the average life span of the BT frames and zoo frames? I must say that I do enjoy coming to this website. I did not know that the British were such bad dudes!! I used to think that BMX riders in the U.S. were hardcore, I have come to the conclusion that British top us!! You guys do it all, jumping of walls, jumping of walls onto shaky parking lot gates, riding trials bikes in the house hopping around on the mattress and crashing in the bath tub. Best trials forum on the net! Ride on, Deadly Venom
  11. Folks, I have two short questions. Does anyone here know if the aluminium used in the Raven 6.0 is U6 aluminium or the 7000 series aluminium? Lastly, I know I asked this question before but I will ask again, has anyone had any porblems with their Raven 6.0? I know these are trivial question but I have to know. Thank you, deadly venom
  12. Andyroo, You made a good point! I am new to trials and I am very impressed with the variety of bikes available. Everyone, I like the designs. It is nice to see a riding scene that has this diversity. Instead of BMX were almost every bike is literally a carbon copy of another model. All of you should be glad to have such creative designs available to you wether they be Koxx, Leeson, Pashley, Zoo, Echo etc. Ride on, Deadly Venom
  13. TRA, I must say, that was very well said. You made some good comments about the products from Deng Industries. From what I’ve read the products from Deng industries are trusty worthy and well built. Me being new to trials I was hesitant about buying an aluminum frame. But if riders like you can do the kind of things that you do it seems that I don't have anything to worry about. I did not know I would cause such a debate when I posted this thread. 14. JoeMaher, Yes, I will admit that it is a bit repetitive to see the same color accents on every bike but lets face it, they do look great. Ride on, Deadly Venom
  15. Everyone, Zoo and Czar bikes have updated their website’s and their bikes are very, very attractive. I found a bike and frame that I have never seen before. It is called the Adamant and it looks very sexy!!!! I love these new colors Deng industries is coming out with. That AdamAnt is looking fantastic!!! This is probably old news to you guys but I decided to post it anyway. I must say, when you trials riders come out you come with the thunder! Here is Adamants website: www.adamantbike.com Here is Czar bikes website: www.Czarbike.com Ride on, Deadly Venom
  16. Everyone, I have come across a slight dilemma. I have been looking for a chain ring to go with the Middleburn crank and I can't seem to find the right one. I went to WebCyclery and they don't have any chain-rings below 30T. I went to Trialsin USA and they only have one brand of chain ring, the Sugino. Is this a good dependable chain-ring? I thought it was a bit odd that WebCyclery would sell the Middleburn cranks but not the chain-rings that go with it. Folks, tell me about the Bonz cranks. Are these also quality cranks as well? Don't stop riding, Deadly Venom
  17. Tomm, chrishayton, I am not sure about the isis drive. Coming from BMX I have used the Square type bottom bracket for a long time. Tomm made a good point about the price. Those isis botton brackets are a bit expensive. Ride on, Deadly Venom
  18. Everyone, It looks like the Middleburn crank is the way to go. As for the bottom bracket, I don't know that much about the Isis bottom brackets so I think I will go with the square taper bottom bracket. Keep riding, Deadly Venom
  19. onza kieron, You bent a set of crank arms! I have been riding BMX for twelve years I have never bent a set of crank arms. JIX, Running a set of cranks loose certainly would damage them. It is good that a company would give you a new set on a discount. I am still deciding on the front freewheel setup. The White Idustries ENO freewheel and the Hope cross country hub both seem to have there pros and cons. When two things have an equal amount of pros and cons it can make choosing between them very difficult. Ride on, Deadly Venom
  20. Folks I have a problem. I am compiling a parts list and I am having trouble deciding which cranks to buy. I can not decide between the Middleburn R7, Tensile and the BT Cranks. I have heard much about the Middleburn and tensile cranks but not much on the BT cranks. I did a search on the BT cranks but came up with nothing. What are some of your opinions on the BT cranks? I am still having trouble picking a frame. At this point I am down to the BT Raven 6.0 and the Zoo Pitbull. I have heard great things about the quality of both frames so I am not questioning the strength of either frame. It is the sizing that still has me mystified, I just can't choose. Just as a curiosity, is the APS braking feature a reliable system? I have seen this on DMR bikes and I was just curious to know if this type of brake post is reliable. Ride on, Deadly Venom
  21. I like it, looks good! I think the models with the blue and gold accents look the best. Looking at it almost made me think about getting a mod. Ride on, Deadly Venom
  22. Incredible video! I like the BMX influence. You certainly have a lot of nerve to pull such big moves. By the way, does anyone know the name of the song and its artist that is playing in this video? Keep rolling, Deadly Venom
  23. Piki, You have made a very good point. There may be quite a few people that have purchased the Pitbull and have experienced breakage at some point that we have not heard about. I did not think of that. Crazy gap girl, I hope that Zoo not testing their Prototype frames is just a rumor. Because that would be very dangerous for both them and their consumers. Don't stop riding, Deadly Venom
  24. Streetjibs, Felix Mucke is a German rider that rides for BT bikes. His style riding is very, very impressive. It is nice to see someone with a soft and smooth riding style. As opposed to the balls out, ruff riding, destroy everything style of riding. Ride on, Deadly Venom
  25. Well, if only three frames broke and all three were defective than I guess there is no problem. Another member mentioned that the BT bikes were very strong also. So can I assume that BT bikes track record is equal to that of Zoo bikes? Keep riding, Deadly Venom
