I'd still have the Soul Kozak hub. With a light QR it will weigh just a bit more than the Tryall. The quality control of SK components is on a ridiculously high level (my mate works at their factory) and you really get what you pay for. Not too sure Tryall has proper quality control since those parts are mass produced.

Surely not? Aren't they like the old Zoo bars? Montys have much more rise and backsweep than old Zoos. edit: to answer the question - the 6061 Monty bars are much thicker and heavier than the 7075 ones. I'd guess that the thicker tubing gives the bars similar strength to the Ti's?

The 04 was 1045mm on paper (correct me if I'm wrong but I'm almost certain). Really depends on the forks, I had an 06 Gu long which had a wheelbase close to 1050mm with Team CNC forks. From all I know all Deng's current forks have the same rake, perhaps the older frames were measured with forks which had a different geometry?

I don't really think that's true. In the old days, most parts were weak and useless and Deng introduced ones that were so much more durable and trials specific than what other brands had to offer. By comparison, they were the best. Now that trials has progressed I'm pretty sure you'll find his old stuff would be no good comparing to what is sold nowadays.

You sure about front BMX axles being incompatible with ISO shells? You can use an ISO Disc shell with a rear BMX axle.
