Flood the thread with Loctite 270, that should lock it forever.

says it all Personally I'd never use a link like that in trials, I do however use that chain (and link) in my street bike. The BMX ones are much better as they're no weaker than the normal links however they do like to unlock

This whole freewheel business is just silly. They could think of some locks or something, or insert a cartridge bearing and then nothing would come loose (as in the ENO). ACS unscrews clockwise, which means that when you're pedaling forwards, the freewheel is tightening itself - but it's only the ball bearings which tighten it, because that's the only moving element resting on the cap. Despite that, it still unscrews because in trials you have the freewheel bearings spinning in both directions, for instance, before you pedalkick. Tensile have "thought about it" and made two thread options (front and rear), but isn't it a marketing gimmick? I mean it's still the same as the ACS and ENO if you have it on the cranks? Why should the worlds' two most popular freewheel manufacturers (being WI and ACS) make the threads the wrong way round? edit: for instance, couldn't they make a shallow rachet on the outside of the cap and have some thin pawls lock it? And when you want to unscrew, you just bend the pawls away. Yeah, pretty stupid and complicated It's late.

You legend Very nice! Some very funny bails/crashes there, pitty I saw most of the TRA ones before.

to tighten the ACS you need to turn anti-clockwise.

You're getting very smooth and for me that's far more impressive than these huge gaps we see people riding as long as you do. You're definitely developing a style of your own. Very valuable Good editing, good music, good riding. Keep it up !

Maybe we should play a GTA2 network game ? Would be fun!

What's the blue bike with white forks and 24" wheels? Looks awesome Imho 16:9 doesn't work well with trials, tried it myself and it's kind of nasty

Never met him so I wouldn't know Thought I got this pic from Google.

Kind of rearranged the setup thanks to saving lots of space with the new monitor. Huge speakers behind me, they have no match despite being like 20 years old. [attachmentid=5086] And the "I'm-watching-you" wallpaper [attachmentid=5087] (just a joke, don't know who the hell this is but he looks damn funny)

The pink Monty has a 1030mm WB

HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET THAT ON WITHOUT AN ADAPTOR edit: ok, I get it now, never going to machine down my hub though, payed far to much for it to risk damage.

Haven't really got much to say as Anzo has already done it. Nevertheless I can just point out that it gets much worse and what you are observing on this forum is really nothing comparing to what happens on the forum I moderate. This might be to do with people being more immature (not in the sense of age but behaviour), and the fact the forum is maybe 3x bigger than T-F. What struck me when I first joined this forum was that people were very kind and keen to help - something I had never met before on the other forum - and didn't make fun of each other. Personally, I haven't taken the piss out of anybody as far as I can remember, maybe because I'm more of a guest here living outside the UK. Maybe my viewpoint is such because I have to deal with the worst. If you come back from a war, you won't react to chavs beating somebody up. It's ok imho.

Lovely! I see you're not a fan of Pythons either?

Let them murder each other, the last man standing should commit suicide.

The longer spokes will go on the flange which is further from the middle of the hub and so the shorter ones will go on the flange which is closer to the hub centre. So yes, shorter ones go on the disc side, longer on the non disc.

The only thing a larger wheelbase will change (when lengthened by the fork) is the way the bike fits onto obstacles. The length between the bars and bb is still the same, which means your body position doesn't change. However a longer fork will lift the front up, and if the wheelbase remains the same, it will make the bike more bunnyhopapble and easier to tap, pedalkick etc. Basically it will feel as if you had a higher stem and an extra few millimeters of bb rise. I'm surprised the onza fork makes the bb so long... edit: hobnobs beat me to it oh my god I'm slow

I don't know how it is in the UK but over here a majority of the advertisements are to do with the upcoming football championships. I hate football more than anything else on this planet and yet I have to watch it on adverts: -Media Markt - Get a 100% refund if you buy our products now and our football team will win (which is of course impossible, but knowing that people here are complete idiots and believe in our, as I understand, shit team, they will go and buy these tv sets because they're sure they'll get a full refund). -Coca cola, Pepsi and snack foods (Lays which I think are Walkers in GB) have lots of shit "bonuses" in packets which put me off. All of them are to do with football. I was doing a huge project about techniques of media marketing and look at these things in different ways. In my opinion the ads listed above appeal to the most primitive of human's behaviours. Can this silly championship be over, can we please loose and can we not hear about any more? Please, make me a happier person.
