It's about 3 pounds over here, I had it done for free. My god Poland rocks! Get it helicoiled, that's the best you can do for your bike. After a few months you'll forget you ever had it done. In addition to this, a steel insert will be more durable than the original threads. Had it done in a Python last year, now Dr Greenthumb is riding it and I believe he's had no problems whatsoever.
The spokes brake at the head (meaning the bit which goes through the hub). 3 crosses, wide flange diameter (disc), echo rim. I use Mavic spokes, mach 3 I believe. What can I do to stop this happening?
I had a ZOO rockring for a long time (not the silly coloured ones they do now) and having abused it thoroughly it has only got a few very small dents and scratches. Very strong indeed.
Had two 20" Typhoons, in the first frame (long) the welds were awful and crooked (far worse than my Python to which I compared it to) and the second one's (short) top tube was not inline with the bottom one. It was badly offset. Maybe I was out of luck though. Not that the frames rode badly or so, they were great.
I far more prefer stock bikes with low bb and short wheelbase, they aren't shit to ride. Voted ZOO because it's got a lower BB and I've seen how poor quality the GU are. Theoretically the ZOO are made by the same people, but I haven't seen poor workmanship on them yet.
They'll probably say there have been some flashes in the sky and that NASA shot the comet down with lasers and then used a huge vacuum cleaner to get rid of the debris.
well, in other words, they've encrypted a message saying "its bullshit". still, i can't wait, will be interesting to see it on the telly edit: goodnight people, hope we're not dead tomorrow after all, that would suck
why not make the chainstays very long, like 1 metre and have the luggage on both sides of the wheel? this way you get enough "crank clearance" and don't need to use silly gear ratios to compensate for the silly wheel size [attachmentid=4861] Sorry, couldn't be arsed to do it properly.
Notts is ~100 miles north of london, don't remember too well though, it's been a while Well, not visiting any other place apart from London then. I'd prefer to walk there than pay 100 quid, which is more than I'm paying to fly from Poland to Stansted and back!!! That's about 1000 miles in a straight line and there are further benefits, for instance I get to have my arse at a greater altitude than anybody on the forum. I can ride anybody on my back to Notts for 80 quid return. And I guarantee good company.
I'd say get the ZOO bars. Because of their shape you will better adapt them to your riding style. Kind of hard to explain, but you can mount them at various angles without them feeling like shit.
