just ride it, believe me - this is very common if it's just the chain that's new.
-
well it this is home made, than I have no more questions Mod please close topic
-
get a Echo Control booster it's amaizingly stiff. had to modify mine for a mod bike because there was no tyre clearance, and it's still dead stiff

I'd love to mount a rear disc on my mod frame, and this is the first time I've seen something that would help me do this. The question is, does a thing like that last? I'd say it would fall off in no time, but this chap has it on his bike (now selling) so it can't be that bad. How do you think, would it last?

How Long Did You Keep Riding Your First Trials Bike?
Greetings replied to fredrico's topic in Trials Chat
about 8 months, eventually it literally fell apart -
firstly I used a sand paper (120/240) fan-wheel on a drill, unfortunately that left in some deep scratches, which can be seen on the photo after trying to remove the scratches with 500/1000 sand paper, i starded polishing it with a special polishing wheel mounted on a drill (fairly hard fabric) using a polishing stone that under heat gets into the fabric and makes polishing much easier. need to get some better tools, because what i'm actually using is a bit crude and difficult to handle well
-
I used sand paper - 240 grid or whatever you call it but don't think it's an easy job, because you'll probably give up after doing one side. the layer is thick and uneven.

can't help you, but i feel soooo sorry

Natural riding is no good for vids, unless you really know that what you see on a monitor is 10 times more difficult to do. I actually think that natural riding is no good for videos, I just get bored with it. It's ok to have a look at a video and just envy the people who get to ride in a good location. I love natural riding myself, but it's once a year I get a chance to really do so on some rocks in the mountains (and that's 300km into the mountains, which is a long journey). Poland is no good for natural riding. There is no decent spot within at least 100 km from my home.

didn't you get the threads mixed up or something?

hey its just what Ive been doing for the last few days, polishing everything in the bike that isn't silver. this is some of my work: this is a echo 06 rim I got down to a few days ago. it took me about 5 hours to remove the anodised finish, and another two to start polishing it. since the photo has been taken i have re-polished it and it looks better, still need to do it at least once. finally use brasso and a special lacker for polished aluminium. this is a 06 zoo fork I polished in July, still in good condition

Hello guys Searched for a topic like this but found nothing, sorry in advance if it's repeated I am wondering how to get down to learning this sidehop Tunni and CLS do: alright, I know what you should pull the bike alongside your body and not under it, but Ive been trying it on and off for ages now and got nowhere. I prefer to sidehop left (left lead foot) but can also do it right. I sidehop about 40 inches. Any technical advice apart from 'keep practicing'? please guys...

beautiful riding, you make it look so easy... great music and great editing, also your camera operator is so excentric do you have a ck hub on the rear?
-
has anybody got any advice on what to do when taping on a mod bike? i can do about 41" which is still less than I did after an hour of riding a stock bike. it seems that mod bikes are just useless for this technique

HDV that's sweet. I wanted to buy one as well but they're so f** expensive that I soon changed my mind. I'd love to see some full-size screenshots off that thing, if you have any please PM me Just wonder how large the videos must be if the standard DV is about 4MB/s and HDV is like 4x higher quality

I've done a lot of editing in my life (using Premiere) and have already discovered that most important is RAM and a good hard drive. 2GB of RAM in dual-channel should keep you going for ages. As far as harddisks are concerned, get a mainboard that has a RAID controler, and two hard drives of exactly the same spec (preferably the same model). What RAID does is to divide each file in half and store the two parts on the two drives separately. That makes the speed of the record/read much faster. It's also best if you use these two hard drives only for editing. You will probably be storing files of at least 100mb, up to 10gb if your into DV compression. If you introduce your windows files and other programs into your collection of large files, the disks will get fragmented pretty fast, and that will reduce their performance. I don't know anything about all these new processors, but a 64 bit Athlon is probably the best buy. A good graphics card is not nescesary in editing, even if you want to add some Maya or 3D Studio animation (most of the rendering, if not all, is done by the processor alone). Cheers

dont think its a game, more like a normal animation. quite impressive skills there, although it doesn't look quite as it should do.

enerjy is important! how long have you been riding? good vid but I dont like the slow motion, also remember to de-interlace some of the dv footage

That's the best trials movie I've ever seen. Great job!! I love the first 10 minutes of 24" riding, the music is perfect, and shots are first class. It's as if I was watching the first Jib movie by Thor Wixom, fully professional! You really deserve an award for this vid Its also the first time Ive seen the Coustelier bros on Koxx bikes, had a laugh there Pitty there was no street from Matt Stapples. Shows you all as a huge community and that's what I find best. Looks like you used a 3CCD camera. Great night shots also. Cant believe that was done on a Super8...

Great site there. I love the Craig Lee Scott hotline Might as well use it if I feel lonely. Just imagining you replying to all those emails

nice pic, very artistic. don't like the position of the bike/rider though

My short video in divx this vid is about 2 months old but i haven't made one since. riding pallets in the country. you will need a new divx codec and a divx player to open the movie, some new media players also open *.divx tell me what you think "save target as"

My 05 python with 06 zoo forks was 1040, now have a long gu and is slightly longer on the same setup. I wonder how they mesure the wb if they never get it right.
