being nooby is 68mm your standard bb shell size, (like echo onza frames etc) then the widest i've seen is the echo one at 128mm>?

there harder to round? in theory they're stiffer + the axles are harder to kill. bearings die faster though

get the "old" style echo 4 bolt booster (all the new ones, echo team, ZOO! czar etc are a bit to wide fer t-birds or they were for mine ) there plenty stiff. set you back 20quids

i don't get what you don't like about high bb frames. (i've not really riden a stock properly, just a few back+kick hops) but i always found hifis, czars, gus + vincos to be prety nice.
