  1. don't be reterdarded and do huge turns like dan says, do little turns and keepchecking the alaignment with the brakes (so theres the same amount of distance from the sidewall to the pad across the whole rim) don't overtighten the spokes either because you pull the hub and shift the rim about (makes more sence when you do it/see it working).
  2. The 96 click freewheel is more "comp orientated" i think so it won't be as strong as the 60 click one since more material is taken away it is likely to snap on the ring bit(no idea what it's called, but it's where all the teeth are) no idea when it's out (your probably better getting a tryall/60 click tensile now)
  3. My freind uses them and they seem prety good, why not try the citrus pads from onza they sounds prety good
  4. unless your going to get an adaptor (crap) or weld a mount on (snap/extra expense from re heat treating your frame for mounts that might get ripped off) your going to have to buy a lot of parts for the change over, a frame that will take a disk(iolo/simtra/adamant? etc)which would be stupid 'cause you just got a vinco, a hub for it and the disk brake but why would you want to do that your back brake is prety awesome already and unless you get an iolo for similar geometry to a vinco you won't be able to finger the ultra high bb rise like you normally do. plus disks are near enough silent (esp when your comparing it to zoo's on a grind with tar lol) so you don't get the confidence boost. as well as if you have a disk you have a good chance of hitting it on a missed sidehop so your ride would get cut short, just stick with your current setup!

    Revenge Tactics

fill baloons/water bombs with nitromorse/paintstripper mixed with flour or similar powder and kain his car/house etc (always wanted to do that to someone) cut the brake cables on his car (might be a bit harsh) set him up on a blind date with pete wright...
  6. should have your finger(s) already on the brake levers and locked as soon as you can think thats what you meant *confused*

    Fears

I hate thinking about "growing up" and getting a job etc makes me panic realy badly or talking in front of alot of people makes mestart sweating and muttering really bad and i also hate being in water where i can't see clearly or riding when someone has just fallen off or something off their bike has broken or riding if my brakes aren't holding right.
  8. 18-18 ***! it's an emense gearing when you get used to it! bit of a gay for abubacus (sp?) but for things like rails it's incredible (imo)
  9. for me it's not so much innovative but just the way people look at my bike and i <3 my purple rim (front one on the way ) i get pissed off with 4 bolt maguras there such a pain in the ass to setup work well though oh wells...
  10. yay for you am i the 1st person to put a yay post? yay i am lol god i'm bored
  11. rofl waffles, no there isn't i supose you could botch one if you really wanted though, but why?

    Riding Music

In flames Trivium God forbid breed 77 brand new incubus The lonely shepherd (track from kill bill) system of a down nightwish cof and lots of track that i get sent randomly and unsignedgroups from myspace etc
  14. Whats with the zoo being on the rim if it's echo (i want one)? and how come you can't get any deng stylie forks (minus lites) with magura mounts? tis gay + retarded!
  15. Don't G sport have a rim that doesn't get pinch flats (or something). And i can't think of many people who don't have something from echo etc on theiir bikes either i can see deng having a 1984 style hold on the trials scene for a few more years (that said it isn't that bad that he came about really). I wouldn't mind seing more bikes with difference wheel sizes (like the demonboy?). How about adjustable frames? you can extend it for street then make it smaller for natural... could be fun weak and flexy as fook though. or suspension on the rear for those mega-huge drop gaps... i suppose the new trials bits will depend on the style of riding since a lot of riders are quitting and moving to bmx i could see trials frames becomeing very bmxy or at least a compromise between the two...
  16. Mod is good when your learning esp if you get a frame with a bashplate which will help you so much (you wont be afraid of messing up your frame, and it's mroe forgiving if you fall since it ive you more time to bail out etc) and a mod is obviously lighter because it is smaller. While a stock is better in the long term since it gives you more of a chalenge although you have more things to break (mech) and in theory more parts could break easier (bigger/longer, and you can get more leverage on them) but the bigger wheels can be more forgiving like on a rail there's a larger area of you rim you can land on compared to a mod. stocks are usually heavier (unless you buy a koxx) (if you go stock and want a bash plate there are a few available, Base do one, and some of the old saracens do to)
  17. About to years ago, after christmas i saw some lads in my local town riding trials (all just got the latest saracen frames, and the hope mono for crimbo lol) started trying it on my mtb with a friend and i picked up some of the basics (trackstanding and shifting my wieght about) and after my local spot was closed down i didnt have anything else to ride so got into trials
  18. Look prety pimp to, and if your a fag about the apearance of your bike (like me lol) then your sidewalls will remain the same colour not that it makes much difference to your riding. i dont know if this happens to everyone (maybe its me having a shity nockaround dual disk mtb) but the spokes get loosened/tightened ( ) on the disk side, making the rim shift over.
  19. The external bbs will not take a front freewheel, you'll need a normal isis bb for ffw, and 170mm cranks are amazing on mods they give you more leverage (not loads, but more than shorter cranks) which should make gapping etc easier
  20. Like poopipe said it's the finish on the bars, i have a set of mtb bars that are the same as zoo bars (only cheaper and ugly) and they creak like a bitch, i wouldn't worry about it.
  21. don't "" my name please and as for being camp, camp enough to confuse her dad, but not to much so your gf takes you shopping more and your nob stays dry.
  22. Be really camp around him, maybe he'll get confused and asume your her gay freind. or you could get your parents to go out for a few hours?
  23. Yeah, but thats a bit of a rip off though, you could look at getting a plannet X (no idea about names, stocks are gay) there in a similar price region.
  24. Bit o.t but if anyone cares i think it's corrs have a beer coming out thats -3' with little bits of ice in it, wow i learned something on a school trip
