How does a harder/higher gearing cause you to gap shorter, surely a higher gearing would let you go further (always seemed that way to me)

possibly (this is all a guess btw) you;ll need quit a large dropout, at a guess that canti leve will create a huge moment and could rip out your dropout could be worth a try though (phone iolo)

Don't paint it, the paint will probably die from the heat etc, tar melts on diskbrakes and makes them aqua-plane and if your lucky smoke comes out (did it on my mtb for a laugh, went down a huge hill with my lever touching my bar and smoke pumping from my calliper/rotor) then again you don't get alot of heat froma trial disk realy, but don't do it youl probably spontaniously combust Edit: Forgot to say i realy liked the brake looks ace!

If your starting out i would suggest getting something prebuilt i.e a t-pro and pimp it as you go along, since the geomety and spec will work better than somethings you've slapped together (in the nicest way possible lol) Plus you can get riding right from the word go and not spend half of your summer waiting for *whatever to arive* Go on www.tartybikes.co.uk and have a look at some of the full builds there

Wrap something round your crank(s), take the crank bolts out and hit the crank(s) with a hammer(or stand on them) while pulling up/away from whatever direction your pushing the cranks and they should come off.

Use some of that multi tone paint (that changes in the light) i don't know how well it would work with a bike frame, would be interresting though...

So is this like rider specific clothing and protection all in one? If so please don't do a monty on us (you'e seen their team clothes right?). i wouldnt mind a helmet that isn't bulky (although that would probably offer minimal protection)
