Its not 'bad', there is no exact gear ratio that everyone must have because thats the way it is... It varies for many people. 22 18 suits alot of people, but say for example you have very powerful legs so you would need a harder ration, say 22 16, or vice versa, if you found it too hard to pedal then you may want to try something a bit easier like 22 20. At the end of the day its all down to personal preference, 22 18 seems to be a popular one but your probaly better off just trying out a load of ratios and see what suits you best

Yeah im running 22 18 and i think alot others run it, ive always found it perfect. Alothough i have known of someto run 22 20. But yeah your best bet is to go 22 18. Oh and why post in NMC when you a member

Sorry Alex ill try and make it a bit clearer. You remember CLS site, when you clicked on the shilouete image of him, and then another window came up infront of that, and inside was all the links ect. The bit im getting at is how does he make it so the window appears like that - No address bar and just a background image with links on. Sorry im getting very confused aswel

Well everyone thanks for all your help, i decided to try that trial version on MX and found it better and easier to use than i thought! But a quick question: If you click on a link, you can get it to come up in a seperate window(i know how to do that) but is there anyway in which you can choose the size of this window ( i want it so its the same as the background image). I thought it depended on the legnth of the spokes weather you could do a X ammount of crosses? If you use that wheel build you twist the hub with all the spoke heads facing down in the hub, then put the opposite lot in and then jus find a place where they fit in the rim, worked fine for me! one of the strongest builds ive done. Infact im concidering taking appart my wheels so i can do it in the sameway, its alot easier to get tighter.

If you read it all through it says about how he's jus bent the spokes over to stop them from catching when doing grinds, its easy to copy that wheel guide, just stick to every single picture and guide and you will have no problems. Oh and you have to cross the spokes so that they are tighter, any problems just PM me or add me to msn. Nah dont listen to him Get with the proper way to wheel build.Its really easy if you just coppy that guide, and if you do it right you dont even need to true the wheel!
