Sift through a 38 page thread for an hour? Or post a thread asking and be told in minutes? Onza Citrus pads are what I have, I've also had rock pad Greens working well on a smooth. If you've got the money the heatsink yellows that Damon has are quite possibly the greatest thing I've ever come across on smooth rims. He has the cnc'd backing as well, which definitely make a difference. I've only used the citrus pads twice though so I'm hoping for further improvement

I stopped using my rockman greens for the same reason! I've regretted it massively ever since! BUT your wrong about one thing, the flex doesn't come from the backing! It's the actual compound that squashes on them I think I might just have to live with that though

Noh! The last thing you want to do is make the tar softer! Trust me, it'll make it worse. Soft tar just clumps and has a malleable style of sticking. If it's not working I'm saying change the pads or the rim

I would have loved to have gone but with it being in Wales...was a touch to far. If it where near Birmingham/coventry i.e. a bit more central to the country I think that would improve the turn out big time! I'd have gone for a start
