Darren's taps are weird! He doesn't slam or tap an object really, he just touches his wheel ever so lightly on the wall and then somehow gets the height. Weirdo lol Yeah, i had to dress up for some fun. I don't hate christmas, just get bored sitting around with familly. Rob

The story goes like this............... Darren Hill (from Thinkbikes) and myself aren't big crimbo lovers, so decided to ride London thinking it would be quiet....it wasn't! Loads of security guards about but did find loads of new little places to ride until we were asked to leave or automated security systems asked us to leave. Had a fun day with tech riding (as my hub is fooked) and just fun and interesting stuff! Plenty of falling off, tea breaks and turkey and stuffing sandwiches. We rode everywhere probably covering a good 7 or 8 miles but only took a few photos. Here's a few i'd like to share. PS. I'm not a super photographer with degrees or knowledge so don't care if they look shite. We were having fun and just wanted to share. But comments on quality are welcome to help me learn and improve. Ok.... i might be coming along after work (trains depending) Even though my hub is f**ked, i think i've still got a few engagements that work, They did today (christmas day) whilst riding in london, was so busy! New bike bits. Picture doesn't make it look great..... but it is. So much more flicky, sits on the rear wheel and is great for spins. Rear hope trilas brake...... oh my god..... soo quiet. More pics coming up soon. Rob

Don't worry about Mr Andrew. I still love you! I managed to dress my bike up. Got green tinsel round it and i'll be wearing a festive hat. Not riding till dark though as i still have to buy pressies :$ What time are we meeting then? And is Collegeboy still gonna come along? Rob

i'm fat so i'm running 40psi in the rear and just over 30 psi in the front for some grip when gapping to front wheel. Don't like rimming out, it takes all the feel and bounce out the move that you are doing. Rob

Urm, yeah, listen to this guy and your brake wont work! Hope brakes use a self adjusting system as it's an open unit. You can't really adjust the pads to how close they are to the rotor, they do it themselves. Take you wheel off and then carefully push the pistons apart witha clean screwdiver (you can take the pads out but leave them in). Now do not pull the lever as you'll pop the pistons out of the calliper. Now loosen off the bolts holding the calliper to the forks. Put the wheel back on the bike (making sure it's in the dropouts properely). Look directly along the rotor so that you can see the pads and their position to the rotor. You want the pads to be parallel to the rotor and you want them to have same amount of space either side of the rotor. This can be made easier by holding your hand or a piece of paper behind the calliper. (if you can't get it even, you may need to place or remove spacers between the caliper and the forks to adjust it's position) This may take a few attempts, but carefully tighten up te bolts again, trying not to move the caliper. Now pump the lever a few times to move the pads back out and aslong as you've set it up straight, it will self adjust so that it doesn't rub. PS. You don't need to bleed the brake for this or adjust oil levels. And you don't need to take it apart to oil it, as you'll destroy the seals. Hope this helps, Rob

I run the wide cogs. Has made a huge difference to the damage/dent on the freewheel. Has flattened it out slightly and puts less damage on the freewheel as the force is spread over a larger area. rob

My hub hsa blown up again so getting repaired. Would have loved to come ride in the cold, damk london atmosphere. Shame. We''l ride soon and have shits n giggles. Rob
