  8. People! Stop using water! There is no need to bleed your brakes unless you damage them in any way and they need a re bleed caused from ripped hosing or if the system is broken in any form. Magura come with a 5 year no leak warranty so you shouldn't need to bled so often. Most people do because they tried to themselves and bodged it with some other fluid than Magura Blood or any mineral oil. Water (no matter how well it works) will cause corrosion and will not be as good as mineral, and will then lead to constant bleeding of your brakes. Just do it properly first time and get some mineral oil and you'll never have problems. Magura actually suggest vegetable oil so why not nick it from the kitchen at home. Stop destroy perfectly good working brakes. Most of the time it's due to pad wear, incorrect installment/setup of the brake that causes a spongy feeling or even brake/frame flex. So stop bleeding for the sake of it. Rob
  9. Mr Chai in the house..... He is the best rider in the world... What awesome style, flair, charisma I want to be just like him.... in fact, i'm Andrew Chai! Can't wait for the next installment of the 'Chai Monster' Good work buddy but next time.... leave the riding to the profeesionals Loadsa love, Rob x
  10. Ha ha... i annoyed Spode by tapping higher than he did on the little monty we got. It's all fixed now and we're both playing on it as both our bikes are out of action. I used to hate 20'' as i was too big but am getting more confident and managed to tap smooth than on my KOT.... crazy! Big bike will back soon but will still play on the Monty (childs bike) Rob
  11. If you havn't faced the frame, they might not do warranty. I'm loving my SKF BB. It is true.... you should never need to locktight your BB on and shouldn't really use any old grease. You should be using anti-seize or build-up grease so that you can get in undone. Sealed units shouldn't come undone but it happens. Rob
  12. Can i have your rear disc please Rob

  16. 'J-kay goes big' photo looks soooooo fake! Why cheat? J-kay, you're getting better day by day but there's no need for this!
  17. I think the main reason i got validated was because i tried writing some respectable posts and donated £15 to Tomturds raffle.... ...... and then won 3 items lol
  18. Will never be as good as mine was thought i recognised the front brake lever.
  19. What makes a dics brake more powerfull than another is the size of the rotor. So for DH use, you'd have a 203mm rotor for greater braking at speed. For XC use, you'd use a 160mm or a 180mm to keep down weight but still have good braking quality at speed. For TRIALS use, your not going fast so you don't need a massive rotor (too heavy) but you still need a rotor large enough for better braking. The main differences between brake manufacturers is the feel of the brake, lever size, piston size etc... which make the brakes either feel smooth, lock on instantly, or allow some modulation. One of the main differences between a Hope mono and a Hope mono trials is that the trials has aluminium pistons to save on weight. If you use a trials brake for DH, you'd melt the pistons as they heated up. Ithink it also has a slight difference is piston siz so that you get a more 'on, off' feel. So different brakes for different feel. Rob
  20. I could do that if i wanted but i don't fake.... just fall off in the process lol
