It was an awesome evening! The new format threw up some surprise results, and it was certainly exciting! Danny Mac didn't ride, but he was there for a quick interview with the commentators (as was Steve Peat), and they showed his video instead... There's a write-up and photos up on Tribal Zine (here). Thanks to Ian Cross (pics4all) for the photos!

I've been wondering about the dropouts and whether you could run a hub with bolts like the pro2. The holes look too small for the bolts to me, but I suppose a QR would fit through. Still, it'd be a shame if they were ruled out, the only downside I can see to these frames. I really like the tensioner idea too - it's good to see some innovative solutions to mech hangers and the like coming out this year!

Yeah, thanks very much for uploading these and posting them on here - you've been a real boon to those of us that don't have Sky! I really enjoyed watching the shows (although the advert/intro was WELL annoying!!), I think Kenny's done a good thing there - he's promoting the sport in an interesting, accessible (to riders and non-riders alike) way, and having a lot of fun at the same time by the look of things! Bravo Kenny! Edit: Rusevelt, it looks like the same section to me. He also talked about not letting your competitor's actions affect you, whether they ride good or bad, which I assume was a subtle reference to that as well, given the footage that was being shown at the time. The comp footage was well good, I never actually realised just how different the big UCI events were to the more 'traditional' comps that I go to!

Been a bit slack with the translations lately - bit of a break over the festive period and been snowed under at work so not had much time. Here's the latest and most exciting piece of news: Tribal Zine & Trials Riders - Alvaro Lopez, webmaster of Trials-Riders.es, has joined our staff to bring us all the latest news and info from Spain! We'll be adding a Spanish language section to the site, alongside the existinf French and English ones, and I'll be translating as many of the Spanish articles into English as well.

In the article Jérome wrote he says that "the frames have been improved", but doesn't say how. I'd imagine he'll be getting one to test before long, so we'll have a full review soon (hopefully)

I've just finished translating our article on the Atomz Co Factory 2010 & Quark II. It seems that the Co-Factory sponsorship is aimed primarily at riders in France, which is a shame. No further info on the bikes I'm afraid, but some more photos (I say more, they're the same, but closer...):
