Not really they measured 1100 with one pair of forks (onza ones) But with other forks they are shorter whats so bad about that?? Any other frame would be same Matt Rushton

Using a spoke to push the lockring round won't make it tight enough I don't think. When I had one i used a screwdriver and a hammer and knocked it around untill it was tight. Also are you running it front or rear?? Matt Rushton
