put mine on yesterday, exactly the ame, beast in the rain but pretty poor in the dry, been riding around with water on it for ages, still not working. I want it for the dj ride!!!! edit : just been out pouring water on it, run around with front brake on til it gets really hot, pouring more water on. Did it for about 20 mins now its mint.

Put my BB7 on today, riding around to bed it in.....put loads of water on it and started to ride around, and this black liquidy stuff started to drip off. Brake still works well, i'm just hoping it's not oil or anything, i made sure i didn't get on on the rotor as i built it. Any thoughts??? Cheers, Ben

I prefer the 04 lever, can be bodged, lever doesn't go back as far, and imo feels more comfy. Ben

Any avid levers are ok, shimano xtr and avid ultimates are your top end levers, but as i say any £20 avid sd7 levers are fine. Get them from chainreactioncycles or wiggle, search around

My friend has a 185 rotor, doesn't look too big and had tones of stopping power. I've heard 160 is still more than enough, so either of them i suppose. Wouldn't go for the 203 myself on a mod because i think they look too big, and can get in the way too much when sidehopping. so 160 and 185 have more than enough power, of course 203 does aswell but theres no need going even bigger, and they look odd Ben
