Hey, you can get a basic, reliable drum kit for about £200-300, CB do a range for about £200 with +£50 for extra add-ons such a cymbols. This is in my local drum shop. I've just had a little search on google and i've already got some pretty nice kits here for a beginner. And for £300, only a little more, are absolute steals here and here. Both these kits are awesome, Maybe ungrade the cymbols after a few months of playing as generally they are pretty crap. Actully i've just noticed these dont come with cymbols. You can also buy a cymbol pack from my drum shop...i'm sure you'll find something on the internet for a few bob. If not a 16''-18'' crash is all you'll need. Maybe a Ride if your feeling rich . You won't be unhappy with any of them! Promise Cheers, Ben
