    Was looking for a bodge anyway, and was looking for things roughly the same width as the spring and just tried that, and it actually worked lol.

    Hell yeah.... One leaf spring out of a cable tie. Flexible and fairly strong. Last me a few weeks before I decided not to risk it any more.

    Normally people meet at the near the London eye. There's a field right in front of it with some walls. That is the famous meeting point lol. I'll try and get the for about 12ish. So get everyone to meet about then.

    Hmm I missed this ride for certain reasons, as I had to do some other things I may go there Saturday though. See how I feel and how the weather feels.

    Them blue levers were crap that's why, mine snapped by just pulling it. They wouldn't sell stuff to not make a profit otherwise how would they still be open. They are just a cheaper bike shop than most.

    If the weather is dry and there is no wind then I might come for a seafront ride, depends if I do other things.

    Balman, tomorrow I'll be riding my trials bike to college (duno why lol) so gimme a call when your free and I'll come check it out. It does sound like your axle has snapped though.

    You not bored of living yet? Southend sucks weekdays, there will literally only be the seafront and to be honest that's boring and if the weather sucks it'll be even worse. I'm with the idea of Thriftwood though........hmmmm

    Its not exactly like we want to hassle them, but I think we will anyway, 200+ people on bikes is enough to cause disruption to the public, especially when we all first meet up.

    If that amount of riders show up I'm sure some sort of journalist or photographer will get a shot of us in a local paper.
