I spoke to a bloke in Ollies skate shop (who are co-sponsering the event) and he seemed to think there was some sort of trials course/dirt jumps, but he didn't strike me as the most clued up person I could have imagined. Im probs gonna cruise down with my mate skinny matt at some point and ride/have an ice cream/check out the talent etc... Would be quite cool to get a few trials guys to meet there, so if theres some stuff to ride, great, if not, go and ride around guildford anyway?? just an idea? j0

just from my opinion, I reckon the above posts are a little bit generous as alot of riders I seem to meet would struggle to tap 3ft.

one my mates and his girlfriend between them got 2 pairs of live8 tickets having each sent in 1 text each, they are now selling a pair on ebay, currently at £400 apparently. To me this seems wrong, they have given £1.50 to help the live8 appeal, but now stand to gain £400 themselves?!?!? Im probs a bit jealous as I didnt get tickets but even so, this still seems wrong to me unless they give the money to the appeal(which i doubt). they doing what anyone would do in the situation or profiting unjustly from the situation? j0

hmm tricky one, it shouldn't do your frame and harm, but if your threads are in good shape and your bb screws in nicely, dont do it because you are just gonna remove more material. I wouldnt bother personally, just use lots of grease when fitting your new bb and should be fine.

hotwheels are the importers/distributors, so any shop that deals with them can sort you out with wtp stuff ;)

lol isis is basically shite!!!!!! the axle is so large in diameter, that the bearings are tiny and last a short time, hence the move by shimano,raceface,fsa etc to oversised outisde bbs like on hollowtech 2 cranks, saint, hone etc. hope you got sqr taper

easy... as usual the rule of 7 comes into play, take your age, divide by two, then add seven and thats the optimum age for your potential gf. so for you that is 15.5, so no worryz. (Y)

to be honest Im not really fussed as to what you think about mtb dirt jumping etc and the whole bmx v mtb shit but I will say that I work and am mates with Mike Smith who is doing the 360s and backflips and I have met the other dmr lads and davage and to be honest you wont find a bunch of more enthusiastic, motivated and general nice blokes. The standard of dirt riding/street is not as good as bmx, but it is MBUK so if you want a bmx level riding, dont buy it. enough of my thoughts though j0

lol £10 is not a lot considering how many rocks/artificial items jim has put in there!!! jim spends 100s of hours modfiying the area so that its good enough to practice on and ffs, importing about 200 tonnes of rock is not cheap. you cant really begrudge the connors the money, as all proceeds from hook woods are either re invested in more obstacles or the money helps fund sams riding for the year.
