  1. If its the Try all free Wheel with 108 ingagements then id say yer its good. My mates getting one, when he gets it ill tell him to reply back to this...But 108 engagements is more than double than what a profile has, n there good enough...Just think what you could do
  2. Welcome. Feel free to make yourself at home Yer, what bike you ride man? Anyways, enjoy your time on the Forum... Abdab
  3. Rate, I ordered nearly a complete bike from Tartys and he was great with it.... For a start, ive got to mention how posh and polite they sound on the phone So.....My bank wouldnt let tarty have the money out of my hsbc account because they thought he was trying to fraud me but he wasnt, anyways, it took up to a week later untill the bank gave him his money. He held onto all of the parts i ordered and he did everything he could do in his power to help me find my money, he used up his time to ring my hsbc branch, his hsbc branch, and he often updated me with what was happening with the banks...... He also gave me disscount due to the situation even though it wasnt his fault, i got a free t-shirt and a whole load of stickers... When tarty got hold of me he sed youd have ur parts the next day before 12..... 10 o clock the next day my parts arrived in good nick from Adam and Dave Id really advise you to order from there, their the best distributors around..... Cheers, Abdab
  4. SAVE YOUR MONEY.... Heres what to do, Just get a bottle with a screw on lid, like a lucozade energy bottle. Then get sum normal magura pipe (if you have any spare) Make sure the pipe is fitted on to a bolt, the one where you screw it into the piston. Then you need to cut a hole in the lid of the botle, just wide enough so the magura pipe can fit through it. Make sure its tight or else water will leak out...... Then fill the bottle up with water, screw the bolt into the piston, screw lid onto bottle neck and tilt water up and push on the bottle to force the water out..... Works like a charm (Invented by a little crutter called monks) Cheers, Abdab
  5. Hi, Ive got a short gu and its the best bike ever in my opinion.... alongside the Ko Bike The gu offers alot my control over the bike than the echo I think, and everythings seems easyier on a GU. The first day I got mine i thought sidehops were really hard due to the high bb, but 2 days later everything was fine and its really good for sidehops now. Cheers, Abdab
  6. Hey, When i first got my profile hub it skipped quite alot in the first couple days but thats just because it was "bedding in"...... After that it was great for about 2 weeks, no problems what so ever. Then i started to have problems. 1st: It went really quite, hardly making a noise 2nd: The cranks started to role round when i wasn't on the bike, asif i had a front freewheel 3rd:It started to skip alot agen... Then i took my profile apart and there was grounded marks on the inner core thing behind the rachet, because there wasnt no spacer there, so i had to put one in.... Also all the pawls and springs had seized up, they were all stuck together and had alot of stuff around them. So i took out the pawls and springs out and lubed them up, then i cleaned out the inside of the profile and then put it all back together. Now its fine, not one problem. I now reguarly service mine just to make sure it doesnt happen again. However i purchased my profile from Tartys and I let him know about the problem and he told me what to do And if that didnt work he offered to service it himself...... Which is great. Tartybikes.co.uk Cheers, hoped it helped... Abdab
  7. Now thats sweet, its also a great idea, best ive seen in ages..... Let us know when the games out because i wana go! Its cool how youve designed all that Good work Abdab
  8. Id go for the zoo There great to ride, maybe a little bit long but i loved my python. I found the python easy to control and easyier to do things on. Also the python offers alot of strength, its made from the ultra 6 alloy and it has alot of cnc parts, which looks good aswell as strenthens the bike out. The python is also light considering the amount of cnc parts.... Abdab
  9. Also if your grips are slipping down, I used to roll the grip back and put some tar on my handlebar, then roll the grip back over it and it wouldnt go any where... its great!!! Or i often use the black tape you can buy just about anywhere, just but a little bit on the end of each side of the grip and its fine, of course I only do this o grips such as foam, or wrap around grips..... The try all rubber grips are great if you dont want a grip that moves....... Abdab
  10. Personally i dont like the look of it..... The yolk area looks like a gu or a cls python and the front end looks like a koxx xtp! may ride nice but im not too fond on the looks
  11. I dont know if this will help but you may have to find a smaller star nut Abdab
  12. Same here no problems at all............. But if u dont want a echo bb no more the koxx bb's are really good Abdab
  13. Hey..... Ive got a 20" short gu and my rear brake its really good. I run a rear 06 echo rim on zoo pads with tar, nothing can beat it But my freind has the same set up but with a grind and his brake is slighty better, but his pads will run out before mine do so Abdab
  14. Orate.......... For three months of riding i thought that it was preety good... As youve only been ridin 3 months aswell i guess that this editing is all new to you, i thought that the vid was quite nicely put together. Also you did some preety good riding, i liked the big drop off the shed thing, that was sweet..... Next time just try not to use as many angles (eg: when you were gapping from bench to bench i felt you used the same clip too many times if you get me) But even though you did that it didnt ruin the vid one bit..... so over all ill give you the thumbs up pal Oh and the song went sweet with the editing man..... Abdab
  15. Depends how much you anodized it, if you do it alot then you will get rid of the try all logo, but who cares it is koxx after all jkin
  16. :king: Your better off buying something a little more expensive so youll know you can rely on it. Im thinking you should get a echo, strong and well worth the money
  17. In summer, your brake is immesnce if you run zoo pads on a smooth echo rim with a little bit of tar
  18. I agree, also its depending on what you ride, street or natural. Different people ride with diferent pressures so youll have to find the pressure thats most suitable for you.
  19. Also geometry is to do more with the angles of the frame eg: angle of the sloping down tube.
  20. Same here, tarty and select are very reliable
  21. nice bike rim could do with a bit of cleaning though
  22. 16, but personnally i dont think trials is just for kids, it s for anyone one, any gender and any age!
