  1. This whole arguing nonsense saddens me. If I was out riding and I saw another trials rider, could be a 24" street, 26" TGS, 20" Monty, 26" street, 24" TGS, a leech norco with front suspension - I would be over chatting, riding with and enjoying riding with someone who gives up their time to spend it doing something I'm incredibly passionate about. Doesn't matter location. If you're a creative rider you'll find something anywhere. I've always rode street as thats what was on offer to me growing up, and that technique and passion stayed. This was before TGS was defined. We did taps gaps and sidehops riding street. We still do. Whilst my riding may have been influenced and steered by the newer generation and style of street riding, my respect for TGS riders is forever apparent. I am blown away by their abilities. Whilst I would find myself enjoying a more street based style of video, I will still happily watch TGS videos. It's a trials video. End of. Was it not trials that we all, at some point fell in love with? Seat or no seat - respect your fellow riders and enjoy the fact that someone elses brain is wired as yours is.
  2. Your videos never fail to impress me. Uniquely amazing riding. 1:08 + 2:05 = particularly beautiful.
  3. @ Damon W - without blowing smoke up your behind, mate, if your family are pressuring you to quit then they evidently have zero awareness of your involvement, influence, reputation, mind bending ability and out right status in the trials community and ultimately it's history. I think it's sad that they would look down on it to be honest, they should be proud of your ability. I've stood next to walls you've side hopped in Birmingham and I honestly struggle to comprehend how you have done it. Had I not seen the videos I would seriously question it. Of all people who ride you should most certainly be one of them for as long as you want to. Regardless of what anyone else thinks, says or does. If they wish to cast opinion without educating themselves on your skill then let them have their opinions but value them 0%. Ride for as long as your heart says to ride. For me, that'll be forever.
  4. Awesome riding. Highly controlled. Loved it mate.
  5. So encouraging to see a female trials rider who displays the love for riding that is in most of us here. Smooth style too. Awesome
  6. Started in 1997. 33 years old. 2 kids. Riding a couple of times a week. It'll never go away. Age is merely a number mate. Who cares? In the days before Trials was more well known (Cheers Danny Mac), we used to get wierd looks ALL the time. You could argue we would get a similar amount of looks now if people realised our age and that we're responsible for children also! But in the same respect of how we felt before, who cares. You're never too old to ride, as long as you keep it going.
  7. I'm not on Facebook which is a pity cuz I'd love to have a ride with some locals around Birmingham/Solihull
  8. Quality. Would be awesome to meet a few people there very soon. Not sure I'll be able to make it this weekend but definitely soon
  9. Sound. Where do people ride nowadays? (Used to ride brum a long time ago!!)
  10. I fancy riding Birmingham again soon, it'd be nice to see a few new faces there too. Will plan a date if there is any interest
  11. This is true. They are very descriptive of the impact of what watching that video had on me are also aren't they are also aren't they also?
  12. Some mind blowing riding in that. Honestly flipp, to be doing what you're doing brakeless, is one of the most amazing, difficult to get your head round, examples of bike riding I have ever seen. Regardless of discipline. I don't buy into that whole argument. Riding is riding, and your level is stunning. I've been riding trials on and off (mainly on) since 1997 and I always love trying to wrap my head around your ability.
  13. Can someone post the bin shelter hop on here as I'm not on facef**k
  14. The scale of which you pull things off is really quite unbelievable
