2008 Rb Levers - Disc And Magura

I know a few pics of these have been posted on here before but thought I'd post some details. I guess the wipe seal will stop the leaking problems which from what I've read were due to dust getting into the cylinder and scoring it, making the seal shitty. If anyone knows any more, such as a UK dealer (supercycles?) then that would be much appreciated.

Hydraulic brake lever for Magura rim brakes

Material : 7075 T6

Surface finisch : anodizing/laser embedded

Colors : black

Special piston with two seals – one O-ring and one special wipe (anti dust and water) ring

weight : 84 g (stainless steel screws)

You can also get them with the old style lever blade.

Prices are €99 and €91.50 respectively, thats £70.89 and £65.52 for us UK types.

With patented reservoir system – F-PISTON only for mineral oil

Material : 7075 T6

Surface finisch : anodizing/laser embedded

Colors : black

Piston with two special seals producing only for this levers

Weight : 100 g (stainless steel screws)

Levers ERGO 1F DB works perfect with other two and more piston disc brakes calipers bled by hydraulic mineral oil.

Prices are €135 and €127 respectively, thats £96.67 and £90.94 for us UK types

They very interesting!

If only I had one of those silly rim brake thingies. My mate has one, we spent the last 2 days pissing about with it, broken TPAs, rubbing pads, work out pads, water, we've had it all this weekend.

Ah well, disc would probably be rubbish on stock anyway.

they say they can only be used with mineral oil. does that mean no water bleeds?

Yeah that's only the disc one, means it cant be used with hopes because they used DOT fluid, you can only use them with Magura, Shimano, and other mineral oil brakes. But yeah the HS33 ones work with water just fine.

do you reckon your get one? htey look pretty bad ass, i just dont want on eyet until i here reviews, i want you to find out of it leeks hehe :P

I am tempted to start selling stuff to try and get one. Or I could email the shop and get a ''U.K. Sample'' sent for free, lol
