Just curious how people run ther brakes and how they have set them up.

everything from grinds to pads to what fluid you use?

My setup:

FRONT

In summer i use

Brake: HS-33 racelines

Pads: Rock green

Rim: Smooth rim

In winter i use a magura louise disc

REAR

Brake: HS-33 racelines

Pads: Rock blues

Rim: Medium grind

I am currently using original factory brake fluid as the racelines are new.

but once they need bleeding i will use water!

post back with your set up

x

Front and Rear 200mm Hope mono trials ;)

Well, i used to. Going to be using an avid ultimate with inspired vee pads and a smooth rhyno lite on the new beastie, and probably putting on a smaller front rotor.

Well, i ride two bikes. I have a dual disc for competitions, it has front and rear try-all brakes.

And for street and some natural, front onza disc, really sharp with avid lever. and rear magura hs33 with light grind and plaz crm pads.

front onza disc? whats that ive never seen him

I use, hope 180mm on the front

and i chop and change brake pads between heatsink and rock, seem to both be good on a light/medium grind, in bad ass cnc backings

No not really, although stu will try tell you otherwise, i've been using koxx reds on my rear maggy only for a short time (now gone dual disk),

They worked really nicely, not much modulation but lots of hold and good bite.

soon to report on dual disk set up, but my front BB5 is far better than any BB7 i've used.
