Barbra Posted June 21, 2009 Report Share Posted June 21, 2009 The whole point to chit chat, is topics like the ones you listed, its a different flavour and i love the fact that when you come onto chit chat, you'll see a bunch of random threads like the 'how long can you hold your breath for?' and any happy birthday threads. Tony Harrison Posted June 21, 2009 Report Share Posted June 21, 2009 Invariably they end up like Twitter feeds: people enjoy broadcasting what they do, but not so much reading what others write. So it's pointless, like the Happy Thread. Sure, it might be enjoyable to commit something you're happy about to the keyboard, but let's face it, with those type of threads, rarely do people read and rarer still do they give a sh't.
