Jimbob 2705 Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 Hi Guys, I am making a custom bike which will be used for Dirt Jumping, Street Riding and Trials. The problem is that I need a Gear Ratio which will suit all the above types of riding. I don't know if it is even possible? The bike will be mainly used for Street and Trials. I find the gearing on my Monty 221 Pr too light for general riding, it only seems ideal for trials - anything else just seems unideal. I was wondering what you guys would advise? Ideally I am looking for a gearing ratio which would allow me to do Trials, but would also allow me to ride Street. Any help would be very much appreciated!
