Late 90's was all about biketrials.com I spent many a lesson wasting time uploading videos that lasted seconds from there. If your new school educate yourself and just look around the site! They barely worked on clean dry paving! In theory they should have been good. Huge profile, aggressive open tread. Compound was just to hard? I swear I picked up a set in the Tioga fad for £15 for the pair, ran them for two rides, fell off a wall (edit: everything), bought some Michelin Hot S and learnt the error of my ways. Pretty much EVERYONE at Bike 01 (I think) had a set over their shoulders because they were that cheap. I ran them for months, trying to kid myself that they worked as well as how good I thought they looked at the time. So many stacks, so so many. They should have come with a health warning.
