I had to use an evo kit adapter so they would fit and i have just found out that they seem to slip quite a lot and i dont know why this is. Please help. Is there not enough bite, or are the pistons moving about when the brake lever isn't pulled? Evo Adaptors will never be as 'strong' as pistons clamped straight to the frame. isitafox Posted July 22, 2012 Report Share Posted July 22, 2012 As above, get some decent pads on there and if your confident enough then grind the rim if it hasn't been done already. isitafox Posted July 22, 2012 Report Share Posted July 22, 2012 Nah they're a company that sell bulk pads really cheap. Apparently the disc pads are pretty good but it's generally trail stuff so I'd assume the pads you have are a pretty hard compound. You wanna get hold of some trials specific softer compound pads, if money's tight (as you've already bought some) have a look on eBay for the Polish seller.
