Hope pro 2 help

Pro2s are actually one of the least draggy hubs out there, if anyone has a stiff one (insert erection joke here) it's likely your main drive side seal isn't seated correctly.

Is that compared to trials hubs? I was thinking more of the normal mtb hubs I'd been using.

i just changed the bearings on my pro2evo trials hub,and even with the new bearing seals it runs smoother than any shimano hub in my other bikes, and i check my bearings quite often.for me its the best cassette hub ever.

with trials hubs you meant fixed/frewheel hubs?

i thought they run smoother, but the ffw dragging the chain gives the un-smooth feel?

You may well be right, it had been warrantied once already. However last I heard it was still going strong despite being many years old now.

I'm glad to hear the pro2 isn't as bad as I had thought, though I'm not sure I'd like to try hope again till the pro2 is no more, or atleast gets new freehub design.
