20" Forks on a 24"?

I heard a rumor that its possible to run 20" forks on a 24" bike and if they are disc forks then you can use a disc.

I'm guessing this depends on the tyre that you run, and maybe the pressure and things, but is it possible?

I guess it might make the bike ride a little wired but I want to know your opinion?

Cheeeers!

And if it means anything, it would be a more TGS orientated frame with Trialtech 180+ Forks.

Pretty sure there was a Russian guy who did it a few years back but had to shave his tyre down to get it to fit. Tried looking for the thread before but failed miserably.

Would probably work with your old JAF Dez as it'd bring the bottom bracket down to a sensible height though you'd have to run a s**tload of spacers and a massive stem to make up the 40 odd mm height you lose up front
