Dman
I want to get a new camera for shooting video, I currently have a lumix g3 and a gopro hero3 black. I have only recently started filming and really like it, just want to see what people think is good. Like the look of this but probably out of my price range http://www.panasonic.com/uk/consumer/cameras-camcorders/lumix-g-compact-system-cameras-dslm/dmc-gh4heb.html?gclid=COmknLScx7wCFYUIwwodcj8ANQ Thanks
Dan Jones
I have a Lumix G6 - the video quality seems really good to me, but for motion it looks like the image stutters? I'm not sure if I have got the settings all wrong and no idea if it will happen on the GH4. I can find a clip from the camera if you want to see. But other than that it seems very good, light and not too big. Edited February 12, 2014 by Dan Jones
krazykid009
For decent quality, you can't beat this. Compatible with the m4/3 lenses on you G3? http://www.tiptopelectronics.co.uk/blackmagic-design-blackmagic-pocket-cinema-camera-1.html?gclid=CJ-H88PAx7wCFWfLtAodADgA_w James
Dman
I don't think that's for me, after reading reviews I'd need a lot of extra stuff to go with it that costs a fortune, and I think you need to be pretty skilled at editing to get the most out of it. Thanks for the post though. Anything else?
Dman
Sony alpha a77 anyone? Specs seem good, looks better on paper than canon 7d.
dann2707
Currently using a Casio FX991ES at the moment and seems to give me excellent vids. Might upgrade soon though.
Greetings
Sony DSC-HX20V. Can't imagine you could want more in terms of video quality or in fact anything. 4K is nice but impractical. You'll struggle to edit it, you'll struggle to display it and so will everyone else.
Dman
Not really bothered about 4k, don't think the Sony does 4k
