SergeL Posted July 13, 2022 Report Share Posted July 13, 2022 I'm experiencing weird problem with this chain, its rollers are cracking without obvious reason. This is a narrow model which was ridden 10 times maximum. Same, but previous chain lost 3 rollers in about half a year. Nothing special, just enough to keep it in place on vertical dropouts with single wheel tensioner. Rear cog chain overlap is also fine. Dan Jones Posted July 17, 2022 Report Share Posted July 17, 2022 (edited) I had this problem. I went through 3 KMC Z1eHX narrow chains fairly rapidly. On the last KMC Z1eHX narrow after 3 short rides 3 rollers had broken. I let Tartybikes know at the time but they hadn't seen the issue before. I'm now using a KMC K1 narrow.
