Trials shoes area a lot more flexible than Skate shoes for a start. if you look at mony boots, they seem to be the same shape as ur foot. Skate shoes are just huge!!(by an large, not all)

skate shoes are huge if you buy the huge ones.

buy the ones designed for bikes and you will find that they aren't huge at all.

I use bmx shoes to walk in....monty's to ride trials in, bmx shoes for "street" or dirt or whatnot. I don't ride any street on my trials bike so it kind of makes sense, the montys just glue to VP pedals...I had to paint them black to attempt to not look like a complete gayboy however.

haha, is it me or do the way the boots are placed make them look really camp?

They look shite, as per usual, what exactly is wrong with skate shoes?

They don't go with lycra. You can have ultra sleek body hugging lycra then big chunky shoes, no need, pixie boots! (N)

Oh and I wouldn't, my Vans are fine.

  • 1 year later...

all these trials-boots are made because there is a silly rule in the BIU rules saying you have to wear ancle-protecting shoes...

silly because the shoes dont really protect more than a pair of socks would do...

i'd say that BIU( * monty *) made that rule when monty shoes were the only option :D
