This in my opinion is by far the best place to start and will actually carry you right through to high quality coding. It IS hard and it WILL be frustrating to learn... but the benefits are vast and it really is a very rewarding thing. They're stocked in most libraries so it won't cost you anything......unless of course your a bad boy and forget to take it back :S. However gay the colours really are, its an awesome site for the basics, and can get any HTML "newb" geared up with basic HTML knowledge. Once you have the basics, and google can't help you with a problem, simply post a topic in here.
