And i had just crossed the road when i heard a bang and then felt a sharp pain in my arm. I quickly ran to my house and looked at my arm and saw that i had been shot by an air rifle! So then my dad phoned the police and they said they would be here first thing this morning. Then they turned up at 5pm tonight. I read in the paper about 3 weeks ago about a young lad (about 16) aiming a gun at people in the high street whilst sat bumming around with 3 of his mates. He was caught on CCTV and police escorted him home and told him off infront of his parents, after the gun turned out to be a replica. Now, in my opinion, anyone over the age of 12 who is aiming a gun at people in public, should be confrounted by armed police, with the intention of shooting them if they APPEAR to cause a threat. No questions asked. I know 12 year old are kids and blah blah blah, but if they have enough sense to know how to aim a gun, then they have anough sense to have their brains blown out. And the parents have no comeback as they are entirely responsible to educate their kids on gun violence. The only way to stop such stupidity is to hit it hard. If people read about a no mercy policy on guns, i'm sure most people wouldn't dare carry a gun in public. I was thinking the same about drink driving the other day actually. nb88 Posted September 12, 2005 Report Share Posted September 12, 2005 Wooooooow scary stuff..... me and my mates got aimed at by an air rifle when we were riding on some pallets at the local rugby club - he aimed it over his garden fence and we saw him and just legged it lol, then my mate dan phoned the police and they went over there quite late and night, found the barrel but no gun. I have the led pellets. But people im not one of them who goes around shooting people. I shoot targets only in my back garden. Even so i dont really use it anymore! Talking about the legal system .. there was also that thing about a teacher or something threating a group of chavs with a plastic BB gun with an orange tip cos they'd just smashed her sons car and the house for no reason other than they were chavs. She gets locked up for a month, they get feck all. You get shot an there response is lackluster. It annoys me that instead of going for the trouble makers the police are going for the Middle Class who will probably admit and not kick up a fuss. One lost an eye and the other two had 4 pellets stuck in their necks. The police didnt really care at all to be honest, the local newspaper did most of the leg work into finding out who did it. Turns out 4 kids had stolen a car and drove around the staffordshire moorland area and shot at anything that moved, cats, dogs.. horses. Just shows how heartless people can be. Also had to walk to school numerous times because people had been killing each other during the night and they had to close the roads off. But me and a colleague was on about coppers at work...they show (or most of them round here) no respect for there own job...they just go round pissing off riders having a laff, doing something productive, geeting out of the house and meeting new people blaa blaaa. Instead of battering people causing real trouble, like the little f**ks pissing my nana off at stupid o'clock in the morning... Ages ago, when i was a twinkle in my mummies eye, and even when i was a kid, you didnt piss a copper off, you had respect for there authority, and same went for them too. Now you get little jumped up twats gobbing off at coppers and they do naff all....mainly because they cant do anything to the lil' shits. I say bring back corpral punishment (or something equivalent) back into schools and force the lil mongs have some respect. It never did my folks, or most of your folks any harm. I was brought up with decently, i have respect for things, people, even coppers when there moving me off a wall or something (well the decent ones who ask and not bully you into moving) anhoo enough of the rant... lucky that rifle slug didnt hit you in the eye or face/head/nackers etc....could have been well nasty yeah....
