ScotchDave
The real question is: how well does it work?
Phatmike
I had one of those a very long time ago, on my blue Base TA26 (before the "newer" ones came out), yet it was too wide for my PX Zebdi, so I very much doubt it'd fit on most modern frames without a lot of bodging. Maybe measure the widest width it'll accept? They're pretty stiff though. Mike.

CurtisRider
pah danny, you suck now think of an amazing way of getting 1 to fit, whilst still running a seatpost and clamp for some reason my latest base is flexy as fook compared to my last
Whiteboy
any chance getting some measurments? would love to see if it be drilable to work on a 4 bolt frame.....on crc site the booster pictured there looks differnet, hads like x's on it..is this on the other side? also if could take a pic of whole booster that be good... Danny
now think of an amazing way of getting 1 to fit, whilst still running a seatpost and clamp Ill pass on that one.The only possible way would be to redrill the booster further up therefore lowering the arch of it so it might rub on tire. deanie-b
Wow, thought this was a dead topic It is damn stiff, Just as good as an Xtr i would say, Although only had it for a few days.It was a real bitch to get on my Peice of shit (Saracen Mad).....I think post width = 94-104 Max, Only a guesstimate Here you are my babies I hope your happy, I made a fudgin' pinkbike account for this Edit: Thats the other side of the booster, i prefer the more 'carbony' side Edited January 26, 2006 by deanie-b
nafan
Anyone tried drilling it to fit a maggie 4 bolt mount yet? I saw a xtr carbon one which was drilled and it looked fine... Nathan
Whiteboy
If you could please get these measuremnts that be great if could measure 45mm up from the holes then measure the width avadible for drilling if wantyed to use for 4 bot.....thanks
deanie-b
Can't measure just now.I wouln't reccomend drilling to 4 bolt syle, Might weaken the structural strength, But for 10 pound who gives? had just as well buy a 4 bolt booster

CurtisRider
more than likely crack at the bolt holes as the material gets thinner and all the pressure will be going to those 2 points on yours though? thats what happned when i made a snapped xtr into a 2 bolt booster for 4 bolt mounts
deanie-b
It's lovely and stiff, But i doubt it will take 4 Bolt usage, I suggest someone does it and gives some kind of review.

Heatsink
Careful with the positioning of the 4 bolt holes![attachmentid=2647]It's 46mm, here's the distance straight off a drawing for a certain CNCed Alu stock booster that I'm acquainted with Steve
