adamtrials
Adjustable air pressure in frame! 690 euros!I wonder how much difference air pressure makes?

justfuzzit
Well i was thinking for one air pressure could reduce dents. but then again could make it more prone to cracking. it would be interesting to try.
joshywa
loved the detialing on that frame..... it was in an old mbuk.. wierd frame, it had a valve to pump gas (possibly helium ) in to the tubing that was meant to stop dents joshywa Edited May 23, 2006 by joshywa

adamtrials
noperob....Good one Thinking about it i highly doubt that air pressure in the frame would stop it from denting, you can still dent say, a sealed pringles tube?

JT!
I think the air pressured downtube was too alter it's feel. Interesting, but i don't think i'd made much difference riding wise.
mat hudson
davetrials could use one. after all that denting just shove 100psi in it so it returns to its original shape
duncanshaw@scotland
I remeber seeing a couple of them way back at the 2004 world champs, pretty sure thomas ohler was riding one.looked pretty nice.

Clawz114
Thinking about it i highly doubt that air pressure in the frame would stop it from denting, you can still dent say, a sealed pringles tube?Yeah, pringles tubes are pressurized aren't they A pringles tube would be the same as a normal frame because there is no pressurized air inside it. The frame we are talking about is PRESSURIZED, like an areosol can for example, which are much harder to dent than a pringles tube.Dan

Its at atmospheric pressure... I think that it will still dent, as it will deform the frame somewhere else when the air inside moves around Edited May 24, 2006 by adamtrials
mat hudson
shake up a half full dneted bottle of coke, all the dents pop back out. with a frame that'd be cool to watch
