fathopper
Hello,I have a bit of a dilemma, I have recently purchased a Hope Pro 2 Trial hub, and I've keep having problems with the internals of the hub. E.g. the pawl spring clips keep snapping. And its getting rather annoying to say the least. Can any one recomend a decent good quality hub, which is indestructible?? Dan6061
i have heard that the profile rear hubs are pretty good They are for mods...I'm guessing this guy rides stock? NO!!!! DON'T GET A PROFILE!!!!!!!!!! Any reason why not?Unless you meant that he rides stock, and because of the difference in spacing for stock, and mod frames, it wont fit. Wright Pads
If you are killing a Pro II so much, you'll get a call of Ian, head honcho @ Hope to talk with you about devloping a way to stop this! Thats fact. The Pro II's used by a local XC group had problems and has been tweaked via that!Chris king, nope! You'll probs tear flanges off, crack the HD axle and complaine it's skipping.FFW for you is probs best! Tensile FFW, cheap rear hub job done! steve@banbury-trials
go front freewheel mate! cheaper to sort out when things go wrong and looks cool when the chain is moving when your pedals/cranks/legs aren't
fathopper
Cheers for all the comments, but I'm probaly going to replace the pawl spring clip for the second time now, and if it happens again I'm going to send the hub back on warrenty. Cheers for all the suggestions. Thanks guys. If it goes wrong after warrenty probaly going to save for king, front free wheels not an option, my jeans hated it when I had one on my T-pro. Cheers guys
