Putting Grips On

I clean the bars first. Then pour a little amount of water inside the grips and on they go! They usually turn around in the beginning, but the water will dry. You can speed it up by turning the grips or with a hairdryer.

Hairspray is good, but I've found Lynx dry works even better.

When I was working in a bike shop we used GT85, which was great, but no better than Lynx, just more available in a bike shop.

The easiest thing is to just push em on with a bit of muscle, if you run BMX style bar-plugs that cover the end of the grip I find they stay put better in the wet.

whats the best way to put grips on because i used a bit of washing up liquid because they wer hard to get on ??????????

your grips are going to slide around all over the place till you replace them. if you're really lucky they'll make bubbles when they get wet though so its not all bad
