No need. If you heat the pipe too much it just stays wide and doesnt grip the barbs on the fitting.

Get the 2 white blocks from the magura mini service kit and put them with the pipe between in a vice with out 1.5cm of hose pretrudeing from the top of the blocks. Tap the barbed fitting into the tube with a hammer. No heating of the pipe is necessary. But without the blocks and a vice your gonna stuggle. Heating the hose usually means you end up with a loose fitting.
