to be honest ride what you want to ride, i moved from a 20" monty to a 24Seven Holroyd. Best move ever. But if you comfortable on a mod why move? Wait till you mates have a stock then try theirs, see how they feel, may not like it.

I've ridden a pit bull with a mod stem... not really what they need to be honest, personally a nice 90/100 mil with a 10* rise stem with Zoo bars.... lovely! Still, looks like pure sex!

Thats not really a high rise stem, This is high rise - http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/images/large_hifistem145.jpg But you as ash said all personal preference. I recently put a mod stem on my stock.... awesome for manuels, but you shouldnt do much else on it, was way to high!
