  2. oh yea i just remembered monty bars look quite street and they are strong
  3. um azonc bars to go for ar just normal double wall ones with whatever rise you want 2" is streety. i also think that the bt risers look streety aswell, but they only come in anodised red??? other than that i dont know mate hope this helps
  4. cool, you could remove the mounts from the identity ones as well, but hey. if you got the extra dollar go for the leeson idea, if not identity just as good realy. i think the identity ones look a bit beefyer and nicer in my opinion. but hey i was only making anyone interested aware. i wont be getting some, chears for you help any way pep's
  5. so how much is a welded disk mount going to weigh? bout 100g??? (guesstimate) well 200g ent alot realy on a street bike is it, and i guess that +200 means thay are a bit stronger as well a? so £49 for a set of forks, ready to use or £50 for pashley forks + postage to and from leeson, disk mount + labour and a week or so wait. seams a bit to much hastle/extra money to save 200g's what you think
  6. yea that's cool but if you dont have pashley's already, the identity ones will be a lot cheaper than the method above. also what is the weight difference, cant be much a?
  7. as the title says i have seen some forks on wiggle.co.uk they are basicaly pashley forks with v and disk mounts £49(Y) they are Identiti Trials Tuning Fork II hope this helps someone
  8. me and a few mates will be there, no doubt
  9. well this is what i would have done with the money, i would say it will all come to about the same amount. echo control 116mm modstock frame (would have just got the normal stock version) echo control stem red zoo bars (but maybe a different colour blue, or just plain silver or black) red echo 07 front rim red echo 06 rear rim (06 rims are shit you should have got the 07 like the front, and again not red) square taper bb (um isis is better but this is ok) echo 6061 forged cranks tensille front freewheel (should be fixed up front mate) echo black front hub echo fixed 15t black rear hub (again pro 2 all the way they have em for £80 on chainreaction cycles) pashley forks (if you got these new they are £50, you can get echo control 06 of tarty for £55 these are better) front v brake rear magura red echo bash ring (apart from colour) hope this helps, but really you should have posted this befor you ordered it all mate
  10. tut tut tut, why ask this you rode a base ta26 bike when you first started, then changed to mod, then dmr, then you wanted a 24" bike, then you are asking for a 26 frame cheap............................... etc i think you need to make your mind up mate and stick with it, you ent guna get good over night it's a long old process. also the point about no one riding stocks in abingdon???????? um there is 5+ of us that do and we all have different bikes so you have the option of testing them! well if you actually came out on your trials stead you would know this a?
  11. that's soooooooooooooooooo nice mate i have been thinking about spraying mine for a while now i think you have now made my mind up
  12. looks good mate just need to nitromores the rear lever and like the others said change the stem, oh and some zoo bars would look trick
  13. as standard levers the 04 feels better, but the 05/06 are better with the deng leverblades
  14. which ever ones feel and work better, i would say the shimano, ones are nicest looking though
  15. any mini seat is good, but planet x ones look quite funky. shimano use to do some red and black levers called shimano dx, they looled ok. and your tyre set up is fine, but 2.5/2.3 is best
  16. WTF i am riding 22 21 its well nice however i am thinking of going down to maybe 22 20??
  17. pro 2 front and back and echo 07 rims, or try-all rims
  18. cool i agree, they know a limited amout but they know more than an old woman, and they can help in that case. anyway mate this is not the hallfrauds debate it started out as a king question so, whatever the weather DO NOT GO TO HALLFRAUDS TO GET YOUR KING REPAIRED!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. ok so they know how to build, saracens, and appolo's cool, but thats it they know next to nothing about decent componants for bikes and generaly what works best? they just know how to BUILD up boxed bikes, which you only really have to put pedals on, turn bars around, and adjust brakes and gears, not the hardest thing really. i take nothing away from you hallfrauds workers, but this is not the fountain of knowledge shop
  20. yea its just a chain stay protector and like it has been said it stops the chain from flexing when on the bash
  21. ha halfords staff all know everything about bikes, thats the best joke i have heared all year you get that from a crimbo cracker?????
  22. And i thought you knew everything stanton anyway course you can use it mate you can use any bash really other than middleburn one's the echo is a smart choice, and you can get any front screw on sprocket for it oh yea you getting this now then? if so i'll give you some dollar for your burns, if the price is right
  23. azonic's seen to many snap befor i would stick wid what you got or go for the bt risers they look quite nice
