Thats what happened to my map when i did stratford, the editing stuff just came up but someone has sorted it now, if that person could put how they sorted it, it would be useful as it seems it may be a common problem

Happened to mine a month back but thats the only time its happened amd the hub was a year old + hope were real good about sorting it and sent me 4 new springs. DOes seem abit odd though, id speak to hope about it

Maybe you should just buy the correct size shoes? The ankle support thing can be sorted buy buying high/mid top skate shoes, or just wearing ankle supports, Ive never owned a pair of trials shoes but the only person I know who has had some only wore them for comps when you have to, he just used skateshoes for riding normaly

That doesnt mean they are not trials specific, that means trials geometry has changed. It is still designed for trials just when a different style of riding was fashionable. I now ride a Mk1 justice which i think we can agree is a trials frame. However i recently tried to ride a zenith and couldnt do anything to save my life, that does not mean a zenith is not trials specific now does it?

what format are you saving it as. In the 'Save As' box save it as a jpeg

Have you not got microsoft paint as that will work. Otherwise just download a photoshop demo off the adobe site.

An idea i had when we went to ride oxford and hardly found any spots. Basicaly go on google maps and find a map of your local town, use PrintScreen to copy the map and open it in paint, photoshop etc and mark where all the spots are. Then upload it and put it on here.If someone has already done your town and missed spots you can always save their map, edit it and upload it yourself. Dunno if it will kick off but i thought it would be a good plan. Anyway to start things off heres mine STRATFORD ON AVON

No matter how far out on the radius of the sprocket the rachet is positioned aslong as there are the same amount of rachets the crank would have to turn the same distance because the angle the crank turns though = 360 divided by no. of engagements

Ask if the shop will gift wrap it for a bit more or write birthday present on the description of the postage form as you dont get charged impor duty on gifts. In can work out cheaper quite often ie i saved £50 buying some profile cranks from the US and most of my bmx mates all buy their stuff from USA

Surely for the 22t model you could have used the extra size to make a better freewheel by using bigger/more pawls and deeper ratchets rather than just ordering a larger plate on the current one which looks ridiculous. Nice idea though having different sizes

Theyre both pretty similar cameras. Id go to a shop and try both to see which one you get on best with. Also search on the internet as there are loads of free reviews. Unless you want the small size of the d40 id look at d50s as well as there are loads of real cheap deals on them if you look around and the results will be just the same as the d40. Just dont get caught up in the pixel war and choose the canon mearly because it has more pixels as in reality unless you are printing bigger than A3 it wont make a difference anyway. And it certainly wont improve image quality.
