  1. discs are nice if you want the contol, i run a v on a ceramic rim with standard pads and thats easily powerful enough to go to front wheel on stuff so unless your doing massive gaps to front wheel i dont see the point
  2. Fully loosen the tpa Just undo the shroud nut and slide it down the hose then remove the olive. Carefully cut the hosedown to a suitable lenth with a sharp object, make sure the cut is at a rightangle. Be very careful not to loose any fluid Put a new olive on (some spares should come in the box) Put a dab of fluid on the end of the hose (use the fluid from the cut off section) carefully slide back into lever body and tighten shround nut. Ive done this loads of times without needing a re bleed. And i dont know why they have spoken about shrinkwrap. That method^ works though

    24 Uk

looks loads better without stickers, but i agree the seat looks a bit high
  4. if you dont have a seat so your crossover is unprotected its a good idea as they are pretty vunerable and quite common to break, otherwise just leave it
  5. i used to use hairspray which is pretty good but slips in the wet. Now i use gt85 which seems better so far
  6. get a 26, more vesatile, dont look gay and you can almost use 26's to get around on.

    Atomlab Hubs

he saying how they have achieved the 64 clicks with 4 pawls as there are many different ways, all with varying levels of success. Personnaly i think 64 is too many for a rear hub without it having a massive shell to fit deep teeth in.
  8. When people say street they dont necasserily just want to do sidehops and front hooks on their silly long bikes. What type of street are you actually talking about: Bmx style stuff, Akrigg style stuff or just sidehops etc
  9. Azonic double walls do feel mint. Mine are only about a month old but hopefully wont have any creaky problems. Id go for them, 2inch rise is quite alot by the way, especialy for the market eastern are aiming at.
  10. hope stems are beautiful. Id certainly have one if i had the dollar
  11. leeson or iolo. If they're too expensive go for a uk24,
  12. If you cannot afford a leeson, either speak to iolo, who are abit cheaper, a uk24 or wait for the ashton 24 to come out. Then that depends on if you want a 26, or 24. If you want a 26 most older geo frame swould be good if you can find a second hand one (pashley etc). Some people used to use dmr sidekicks for trials too which would be a pretty streety option. The justice is also quite nice, especially with a 50 - 70mm stem (although i'll prob get sh*t for sayin that).
  13. depends which way you sidehop as if you sidehop towards your disk its prob a bad idea, otherwise they are good, power and feel etc. However if you get a bb7 theres always the chance that it will crack
  14. Anyone have any experience with the atomlab hubs, they come in mod and stock widths and the 4pawl 64ingagements sound pretty promissing http://www.atomlab.com/bmxhub.html http://www.atomlab.com/mtbhubss.html

    Profiles

take the grease out, that will help otherwise it depends should be no more than a month
  16. hope all the way. They work way better and you can easily get hold of all the spares
  17. ashton for the win. So much better than any long gay frame like the adament
  18. bruised kidney (pissing blood is not fun) and countless sprained ankles
  19. i like to be pretty confident about stuff, but youve got to take chances overwise progression will be real slow. I find its bad if i think too much about a move, its better just to size it up and do it. + when a chance pays off its the best feeling
  20. the deng cranks are all probably pretty good, but id prefer tensiles anyday and thereplacable pedal threads are even better. Dont forget proper mountain bike cranks too like raceface (as long as your not running a front freewheel)
  21. Most cities contain stuff that will satisfy you, however larger towns are generaly quite good and being smaller everything is easy to find. for example stratford is alot better than some cities ive ridden
  22. I cant see a massive corporation like shimao entering a niche market like trials brakes. It seems a good idea for a trials company though as if they can make something better than a magura they'll sell like hotcakes.
