  1. My mates kept slipping so we drilled a hole in the tensioner and stuck a long bolt through that rested on the underneath of the dropout so it couldnt move up, works a treat now
  2. He really is fu*king cool I wish i could ride into bushes and make wicked videos
  3. You can still sidehop an old frame, i used to go to front wheel on mine rather than tuck and that works fine.
  4. 26inch

    Tartybikes

I think free postage would be the best move, then i would prob order from tarty rather than select
  5. a normal tensioner like people with verticals ride
  6. Only place i know of would be Burton Dasset hills near banbury. There are some good bits but its very windy up there so unless its a still day its prob not worth the drive
  7. This weighs 22lbs. Its not really that hard to get a 26" that weight and theres no stupid weak parts on there, you just have to choose sensible stuff.
  8. Have you thought about chilling out on the exclamation marks, smilies and other crap
  9. I wouldnt use that flash on the cameras hotshoe as on old flashes the trigger voltage is usually too high for modern cameras which can fry the cameras circuits. Only use that as a slave
  10. Works so well fi you have funbolts or pro2 stlye axles. Super simple and never moves
  11. Dont know I could trust magnesium and a frame, spose it depends what alloy is used. Surprised no one has mentioned them denting as mag is usually pretty brittle, i doubt the brake threads would last very well either. I agree with onza that someone would prob have done it before but id like to be prooved wrong as it sounds intresting.
  12. When they go shit take a stanley knife and slice the top layer of pad off then ride with them for a bit and they soon go back to their wonderful selves. At least thats what happened with my blues
  13. a certian lack of 26inch frames
  14. Nice apart from that tire and the seat. Aswell as the horrible colour that tire is pretty unsuitable for trials
  15. Dunno the length but im pretty sure its the same geo as the heatsink uk24 so have a look on their site
  16. Rim as I break disks too easily + alot of frames cant handle the forces of a disc very well
  17. Firstly where are they made with that price? The look the same as everything that comes out of taiwan for a third of the price and without the ridiculous dragon graphics. Would be good to see more stocks with horizontals and integrated tensioners though
  18. If its a bmx it has 3piece cranks yes? If so you only need to take one crank arm off and then just knock the axle with atached arm through
  19. Was thinking of ordering a booster from selectbikes instead of tarty because of the free postage but my mate didnt seem to think select where very reliable, has anyone had any experience with them? Cheers
  20. I doubt it is the acrh bit making it squeak, a brake squeaks because the pads are vibrating, try putting copper grease on the brake mounts and the washers behind your pads + make sure all the bolts are tight. On my xt vbrake the linkages for the parallel push are real loose but they dont squeak
  21. Do the old mx trick and wire your grips on
