  1. You will need a blunt object that will fit through the non drive side of the hub, Something like a thin rod of metal,a socket extension or a large wooden dowel. You want to push the spring plate onto the drive and driven rings and bearings. Tap around the edge of the spring plate in a circular motion slowly to remove the bearing carefully. If your going to stretch it dont over do it and deform it, A few centimeters will be fine. Use a few blocks of wood and a G clamp to press the bearings back in.
  2. Good luck with the bike and wear a helmet!
  3. How heavy is a rock? Different builds will be different weights. Doubdtful that adamant was 7kg, it's a heavy frame on its own. What parts were on it?
  4. It isn't essential. If you are just starting out and seeing if you like Trials, you don't need to be splashing out cash on loads of upgrades. The deraillieur and chain tensioner are both mounted onto the 'hanger bracket' which is designed to break off if you smash it on something hard anyway. Solution is, don't hit it or get a frame with hoizontal dropouts. The latter being out of the question. You can singlespeed it, but you cannot do this with a freewheel. All you need is a singlespeed conversion kit.
  5. There seems to be alot of these topics as of late. It looks as if Winstanleys have a sale on MAD bikes at the moment. If you don't like the Onza stock bikes then MAD would definately be the way to go. I would recommend this 1.2 for beginners such as yourself. My advice on where to start would be to get your balance and bike control good before you start throwing yourself off of stuff. I see it in videos on here all too often and it makes me cringe. Once you have got used to balancing and controlling the bike, look into hopping. Then come back
  6. These are Magura brakes. Have a look around this site for brake pads and brake clamps also.
  7. You will not be able to use a freewheel with that rear hub. If you want a freewheel you will have to change it to a fixed hub. Or obviously you could buy a single speed kit to go on the Shimano hub that comes with the bike. If you want to use a freehweel on the front, you will have to but a new crankset.
  8. Nail on the head. You cant just get bad clips and slap a few black and white fades and cuts on them to make the video a good edit. Try and get some steady camera work and better shots and then work on syncing it up to a goood song.
  9. Rockmans answer to the Rockman Slate 3... Oh wait...

  13. LOL at this thread. Pics instead of bickering would be nice
  14. More like 5 seconds. Good that it's on there though.
  15. Nicely filmed and put together Kevin. Would it be possible to take it out on an evening session to test the low light performance? Have you had time to test the maual focus? Some insight and opinion on that would be great too, but I'm liking what I see so far.
