Sorry, my bad, i never read it right. I'd imagine plazmatics would be the best choice to be fair, every time ive tried coust pads they have worked best on a fresh sharp grind.

My what were? I'm not too sure on that one. I never tried smooth surface, just slapped the grind strait on. Thanks , it rides mint too

Naaa. Plazmatics would be fine im sure, as will rock pads as they are slightly softer material. You'll have to experiment though Max...
