  1. i would loosen the spokes on the sie of the wheel that the rim is towards by half a turn, and tighten the other side by half a turn ,to pull the wheel across to make it centred . hope that made some sense lol
  2. because you want a 24" with a seat mate bike looks so good, nice choice of colours
  3. cheers man,im going to hold onto the tuff guys for now , im waiting to see what trialtech/inspired bikes realease's later in the year it's not too bad mate,i don't do static hops on her,i try to ride her like a bmx more than a trials bike so it feels pretty good plus hopping is quite hard with the 22/15 gear ratio
  4. the stem is a hope dh 70mm/50degrees and the barss are NS Bikes Habanero Bars Black 700mm 70mm Rise 31.8mm Clamp ,both bought from chainreactioncycles.the bike rides good without stackers but im experimenting with them at the moment just to see how it goes like. edit:pic of bars and stem added.
  5. i might be bringing the inspired in your direction late august so you could possibly have a go then like
  6. i've rode with him a couple of times,he was a sound guy and beasty rider,my thoughts are with the family and close friends. r.i.p
  7. at a guess i'd say pashleys with 24" mounts welded on . looks freaky but in a good way
  8. like a sea bass mate,in other words ,awesome .bare in mind i set this up for street not gaping, sidehops etc El Cristoff,i cleaned of my pads and rims and the brake is lush now ,doesn't hold as well as a decent grind but enough for holding on the edge of walls when doing a abubaca i recommend vee's on 24
  9. more positive comment, didnt expext that lol, cheers people they're atomlab rims, got no idea what ones though as i bought the second hand for a tenner each, absolute bargain
  10. if you look down the menu on the left hand side and click on the rims 24" option then you will find all sorts of 24" rims
  11. cheers for the positive feedback people ,glad everyone so far approves and reply to owen,we deffo need a 24 ride soon rims are awesome man, they look fecking lovely and are pretty damn strong . its not too bad, theres a fair bit of modulation which is good as i plan on learning manuals ,plus theres good lever fell which i really like in a brake so im happy.the hold isn't fabulous but thats probably because i haven't cleaned the rims and clean the pads yet :$ ,i will update once i have like the arms are sd7 and heatsink reds . steve
  12. this isn't the final spec that im after, wanting to get some new forks ,larger disc /vee on the front etc put she ride nicely none the less ,please leave a comments cheers, steve
  13. on my 24 i try to ride creatively like danny mac and john shrewsbury,so really, i could say there my idols when i ride my stock i just try and get up /over/down stuff without falling of lol
  14. hi guys,im just wondering what pads you lot are using on smooth rims on the rear? im looking for some pads that have modulation but hold without fail, does anyone have any reccommendations? cheers, steve
  15. dont forget that crank arm lebgth will make some difference to the feel too, long arms make the gear fell a bit lighter due to the extra leverage. steve
  16. i run a sun single wide and have done for nearly a year, not a buckle in sight and they look pretty pimp in my opinion too.
  17. avid bb7 08,avid sd7 lever and tesco cables ,its beasty and cost probably no more than £65
  18. excellent idea i'd also buy this magazine, sounds like it could be good.any plans to have a section where people write in or send pictures of there riding? steve
  19. just ride with high pressure then let the tire down till it feels good then measure the psi on a pump i run mine very high ,but thats because im not very smooth like. steve
  20. i totally agree with this guy,i hav a dead grinf with red vee pads and they are amazing
  21. buy it mate and u will love it,the levers and cables are cheap,i use tesco cables and they are like £3 !!
  22. i preload against the brake then carry on pushing through the pedals once i've released the brake i'll give it a go ,its where you apply force to something before you attempt something ,lol thats the best i can do . if you watch a vid of say damon watson ,watch his rear tire before he hops /gaps ,he "preloads" his rear tire (you can see it squash down ) ,this gives him extra bounce . sorry for the crap explaination,i tried ,im sure someone who can explain better will post later. steve
