  1. i HIGHLY recommend avid bb7's ,i run a 203mm rotor with a cheap avid lever and tesco cable and it is more than powerful enough to stop me dead ,in fact my tire loses grip before the brake stops holding . steve
  2. i have a 3usb modem too but i haven't experienced your problem .have you tried using it in a different usb port ?only thing i could think it may be.
  3. very nice looking bike,personally i would get a bigger seat with a hope clamp in blue and some matching blue pedals and then i would love it,but then again im just being picky lol. steve

  5. cheers buddy thanks man, its nice when set up just right ,it modulates really nicely for manuals ,thats with heatsink reds like,with standard avid pads it isnt too good . im going to be spending some money on her soon i reckon considering she is a bit of heavy unit,my wish list is as follows.... tubeless conversion f+r (i run my tires at 40+ psi so it should be good) lighter forks some inspired pads decent lock-on grips new pedals thanks for reading,steve

  8. we need specific ropes(e.g bailing twine isnt good enough ),harnesses,karabiners,strops,pulleys ,friction cord etc ,and thats just to climb like,and a half decent climbing kit costs £500-600 ;hence why were going to a big show were we can get discounted stuff plus its handy to see new equipment and tools that we could buy. i MIGHT be about next weekend or the one after ,i'll let you know mate.steve

  13. i get back ache when i ride my inspired for long periods of time,but thats because i run a short setup on it and im used to my long simtra. i love hooknorten brewery ales,especially hooky bitter and old hooky cant beat local ales

  15. heatsink lemons and heatsink albino are my favorite so far so im going with them
  16. it mus be how the chain is put together,a crappy chain lie or isn't maintained properly like e.g oiled and clean

  18. it has many advantages ,e.g the engage feels a bit quicker,weight moved to the middle,cheaper to buy,easier to service,you can change gear without pedaling etc.some of the disadvantages are chain wear is slightly worse and occasionally your trouser get stuck in the chain. i found that correctly installing chains stop them snapping ,what chain are you using mate? steve

  21. bt front hub-£30 on sale at tarty,cheap,strong,decent bearings and looks pretty good. avid bb7 203mm-£50,avid sd7 levers-£15,tesco cable-£2 great setup,mines really powerful and holds and bites like a beast. total price £97 ,bargain and you can spend the change on other parts and beer
  22. have you got the freewheel tightened up to the maximum it can e.g after been ridden?this might just tighten up the setup to give you that clearence need
