  2. i wouldnt be nervous about riding with older people mate,if you are,most will be better than your average 12 year old so that'll help you improve really quick.plus i've found that most trials riders are nice people,where not like them bmx-ers steve

  5. mine does this ,its because the bearings are bust.you could possibly change the bearing if your bottom bracket will or buy a new bottom bracket. steve

  7. its a really clear and easy to use site,top marks i personally would like to see page with your bike details but that just because im nosey lol. steve
  8. theres usually a couple of notches on one side of the freewheel,if you put a screwdriver in one of these notches at about 45degrees and tap it clockwise with a hammer it should come undone ,if not try tapping it it counter clockwise.im sure someone will tell you which way. once open take it apart and lay it in order on the work surface and just clean any muck of the nners and then re-assemble,just remember to put light oril or wd40 in before you tighten the lockring. hope this helps mate,steve
  9. i personally poor boiling water onto the threads moments before i turn the spanner,this always make the freewheel fly off. steve

  12. have you ever considered making a screw on cog that has say a 15t and a 16t sprocket on it?i dont mean two different cogs i mean a single unit like. steve
  13. thanks for the reply,i meant the cockpit length,i should have said.what length stems are you and dave running?im about your height so it'll give me some ideas as i may get one of these frames. i'll give tarty a ring in the next day or two cheers,steve
  14. do you know if wide rims such as try-all will fit with a maggie with new pads?i was just wondering as the tartybikes website says this frame has a 94mm brake spacing. also ,do you find the length a issue,or are you super tall so it rides nice for you? steve

  16. i bought a pair of sinta bars,i ended up reducing them to 29.5" in the end,they were just too long for me . steve

  19. definately meet up with other trials riders ,this is a great way to improve you could also get a copy of "the art of trials" by ryan leech. steve
  20. i agree with matt rushton im afraid,back to topic,you can true it easily enough on your own mate ,if you search the wiki thread in trials chat and it'll explain how to do this. steve
  21. like koxx browns aye,should be good then. sounds like you have some good ideas and brake pads availiable,i'll definately be looking into getting some pads once i here some good reviews. steve
  22. 1.it is possible,just make sure you open it up over a tray or pot so that the bearing dont roll everywhere. 2.i havent seen any,but its fairly simple too,hardest bit i found was puting the bearings back in,wasnt impossible just a little tedious. hope this helps,steve
