  1. oww dear lord have they re-welded the bottom bracket to the chainstay?
  2. i imagine you mean the main hose?well, they undo the nut that either attaches the hose to the lever or the m6/m8 piston, then they put the hose through the frame then reconnect the hose again.doing this may lead the brake needing a re-bleed steve

  15. i personnally hate load freehubs/freewheels ,sounds like a aeroplanes is strapped to the bike plus you cnt sneak up on any totty with that racket
  16. deng brakes in theory should be better than maggies but i've heard alot of bad things about the leaking and the voided warrinty if you run cnc'd brake backing. back to topic, vees tend to have more modulation than maggies so they are going to be better suited to the front, though some riders like their front maggies.tarty bikes and chainreactioncycles both sell good vee's and levers ,to make a decision i would search the forum to find out what others are using have you considered a front disk brake?disc brake usually perform well over a greater spectrum of conditions than rims brakes, for example 2inch deep mud,a good disc brake is a avid bb7 steve
  17. i believe tart and trial-uk sell zhi parts and frames, maybe ak them to build up a bike for you?you'd then be able to fine tune the parts to you style steve
