  1. this threads already been done to death ....... http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;#entry1746098 it can be done, the only real issue is bb height
  2. youcould just make some mount converters up...ive got a 26" to 24" vee converter that works pretty well.....the only bad thing is the bb height...e.g a zoot is +35, which equates to a plus +10 stock.......i was thinking about converting my woodstock originally which is zero.....when used with 24" wheels would make it feel somewhere in the minus bb range...not too great for trials
  3. ill most probably be out on the new bike
  4. thought this was a massive bump from last year when i saw this! Yeh id be well up for this; if i can stay somewhere....

    Stem?

ive got an echo control stem...90mm one, pm me if interested; mint condition
  6. there are no real tgs specific 24" out yet ( unless you get one custom made by someone like marino ) Id say go for a zoot, as they're cheap and have a fairly uci look to them....ive got one and really enjoy riding it; wouldn't take it out over my zhi though
  7. g-baby....whats the point, its obviopus people learn at different rates.... Taught sprog to pedal kick / chain tension / back wheel hop now so all's good...... Bit sketchy but he's nearly got it down
  8. im out for today im afraid...car troubles.... sorry to everyone going, especially davies + prawny...but i have no money for the train and the people staying dont want to pay for the train
  9. that stuffs okay, but it does tend to push its way out of bearings.....the same ize yub of lithium'll cost about 5 quid and is far better
  10. or plastic...... Get an m5 bolt? , chop it down so its the same height as the round bit ona a magura wheel, then wack it ion there....works okay; good enough for one ride at least.
  11. hi there....welcome to the forum etcetera, keep it concise, punctuated and helpful an you'll be validated shortly... see you in members soon!
  12. if its a standard hope mono mini ( gold bore cap )....it wont be great for trials....mine with a 180 rotor on the front of a stock was pretty kak to be honest; and as you say your framew told you so; i assume you're gonna go rear disc,.....id go for a bb7 or a mono trial to be honest mate.... or do it properly and run a a magura

  16. around £300 id say ( with tensile cranks etc )
  17. just smash it out the bottom....then go to "insert LBS here" and buy a star nut.....1" fr the thick alloy steerer deng forks, 1 1/8th for pretty much every other fork
  18. i use standard lithium ( red ) grease for pretty much evcerything....fork lubing, bearing greasing, cable lubing etc....lasts ages and doesnt emulsify like jcb grease tends to...... as helpful as i can get im afraid try bikeradar.com for some more info
  19. nope...03s were the first.... Saracen x-ess 03 in white...too short and too low bb rise Onza woodstock frame - too short again for me, and again not enough bb rise pitbull 04 - just got bored, and got next frame for free coustellier st. blaise - still have it just lend it to my mate now and again....lovely bike Zona zenith - best bike so far; love it to bits
  20. whole bike...id say about £250...minus maguras; nearer £200
  21. shit...yeh get jammy to come with his new stock then
